Never stop turning to Christ

Wow, what a week it has been. I apologize for the super short email; this p-day was all over the place, but here are some week highlights:

The first part of the week was solid work. Walter is preparing for his baptism this week. He told us that most of his fear and worry about it has gone as he prays daily and as it gets closer.

Glenda Nataly was sick for the last little bit, so we haven't been able to meet with her much, but her friend is interested too.

It got up to 108°F/42°C this week. Who knows where the rain everyone was talking about went.

I got transferred to the offices this weekend and have been in a trio with the general secretary. I am sad to miss Walter's baptism, but I know that he is ready and in the Lord's hands.

This week I have been really focused on perseverance.

Moroni 10:

32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.

33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.

Perfection in Christ does not mean we never make mistakes. But to me, perfection in Christ signifies that we continually turn unto him towards Eternal progression.

I love you all and ask for your prayers, especially this week.
